A device for measuring a users range of clear focus (accommodation) comprising: a display for displaying a test image to the user at a first size a sensor for determining the separation between the display and the user and a processor for determining the angular subtence of the image to the user and to resize the test image in order to substantially maintain the angular subtence of the image when the separation between the display and the user is varied.Linvention porte sur un dispositif de mesure de la plage de mise au point nette (accommodation) dun utilisateur. Ce dispositif comprend : un dispositif daffichage pour la présentation dune image dessai à lutilisateur à une première dimension un capteur pour la détermination de la séparation entre le dispositif daffichage et lutilisateur et un processeur pour la détermination de létendue angulaire de limage pour lutilisateur et pour le redimensionnement de limage dessai, de façon à maintenir de façon substantielle létendue angulaire de limage lorsque lon fait varier la séparation entre ledit dispositif daffichage et lutilisateur.
