PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable hydroponic system improving the form for producing vegetable and the form for distributing vegetable so as to inexpensively provide fresh vegetables. SOLUTION: The vegetable hydroponic system comprises: performing cultivation from the stage of sowing vegetable seeds to the stage of growing them to half-completed vegetables 32 in a primary vegetable cultivation factory 1; transporting the half-completed vegetables 32 to a secondary vegetable cultivation factory 2 via a transportation means 5; and growing the half-completed vegetables 32 to grown-up vegetables 33 in the secondary vegetable cultivation factory 2 to harvest the vegetables. Such structure where the transportation means 5 transports the half-completed vegetables 32, enables transportation by a small vehicle or reduction in transportation frequency in comparison with the case where large shaped grown-up vegetables 33 are transported in a final production stage, and thereby is reduced in transportation cost and also reduced in emission of exhaust gas from the transportation vehicle, so as to contribute environmental conservation. Also according to the system, the secondary plant cultivation factory 2 is established in close vicinity of a vegetable consuming region, whereby local production of fresh vegetable for local consumption is attained.
