PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition containing an inhibitor of mysterin, for use in treating Moyamoya disease or for promoting fat metabolism. A pharmaceutical composition, wherein the mysterin inhibitor is a mysterin expression inhibitor, and the expression inhibitor is selected from the group consisting of siRNA, shRNA or its expression vector, an antisense oligonucleotide, and miRNA. In addition, use as a model of abnormal fat metabolism in non-human mammals in which protein expression and/or function of mysterin is reduced, or as an individual disorder model due to abnormal aggregate formation of mysterin.
