PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system for facilitating drive control of a plurality of light source parts.SOLUTION: The endoscope system comprises a tip part 100a mounted with a plurality of light source parts 103 for emitting illumination light and a light source driver 203 for performing drive control of each of the plurality of light source parts 103. In this configuration, an electronic scope transmits prescribed information about the electronic scope 100 to the light source driver 203, and the light source driver 203 switches light source parts 103 to be driven on the basis of the prescribed information transmitted from the electronic scope 100.
