PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a eco-friendly weed control mat is provided to endure wind, suppress the growth of weed by having improved absorption rate. CONSTITUTION: A lower layer(10) is made of a fire resistant processed polyethylene fiber. A surface layer(30) is combined to the top of the lower layer, and the exterior surface is smoothly heat-treated. A waterproof layer(50) is combined at lower part of a fragrant grass mat, to prevent water from entering to pavement through the surface layer, polyethylene fiber without fire resistant process is done. After lower layer, surface layer, and waterproof layer are punching processed through needle punching machine, inserted to heat roller and LM fiber is melted on roller and congeals to process surface smoothly. Eco-friendly weed control mat is produced in order as follows. The polyethylene fiber without fire resistant process is casted at fixed thickness. On the top of cast, UV processed polyethylene fiber and low melting point LM fiber mixture are covered for fixed thickness. On the top of cast, fire resistant processed polyethylene fiber is cased with fixed thickness. Three fiber layers are punched with needle punching machine and fiber textile is manufactured. Heat is applied to waterproof layer and exterior surface of surface layer to smoothly process the surface by passing fiber textile through heat roller and pressurizing. [Reference numerals] (10) Flame-retardant treated PE; (30) UV treated green PE + LM fiber; (50) Non-flame-retardant treated PE본 발명은 방초매트에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 잡초가 생장하는 것을 억제하기 위해 지면에 덮는 방초매트에 있어서, 난연처리된 폴리에틸렌 섬유로 이루어진 하부층과; 상기 하부층 상에 결합되며, UV처리된 폴리에틸렌과 저융점 LM 화이바를 혼합하여 이루어지고 외표면이 매끄럽게 열처리된 표면층; 및 상기 방초매트의 하부에 결합되며, 수분이 표면층을 통과하여 도로에 유입되는 것을 방지하기 위해 난연처리하지 않은 폴리에틸렌으로 이루어진 방수층;을 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 친환경 방초매트에 관한 것이다.
