PURPOSE: A control method for the defrosting operation of a kimchi refrigerator is provided to reduce the deviation of defrost heater operating time by changing the control temperature of a defrost heater according to changes in ambient temperature during the defrosting operation of the kimchi refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: A control method for defrosting operation of a kimchi refrigerator includes the following steps: checking for changes in ambient temperature； setting a defrost heater shut-off temperature according to an indoor control temperature range when the indoor control temperature range of a storage chamber is changed； and turning off a defrost heater when the indoor temperature reaches the defrost heater shut-off temperature(S80).본 발명은 김치냉장고의 저장실에 적상된 성에를 제거하는 김치냉장고 제상운전 제어 방법에 관한 것으로서, 주변온도가 변화하는 지를 확인하는 단계, 주변온도가 변화하고, 주변온도의 변화에 대응하여 저장실의 고내 제어온도 범위가 변경되면, 변경전의 고내 제어온도 범위에 따라 제상히터 오프 온도를 설정하는 단계 및 저장실의 고내온도가 제상히터 오프 온도가 되면, 제상히터를 오프시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
