In an internal sinus manipulation procedure for augmenting bone of a dental patient between a bony floor of the patients sinus and a raised portion of the patients sinus membrane, employing a bone graft material condensing instrument comprising a longitudinally extending handle and a laterally extending distal head having an upper surface bounded by vertically extending substantially flat sides and a flat horizontally extending lower surface and placed within the raised portion of the patients sinus membrane to condense a previously placed bone graft forming material upon a turning thereof.
