The oral composition according to claim 1, further comprising an active agent selected from the group consisting of magnolol, tetrahydromagnolol, butylmagnolol, honokiol, tetrahydrochonokiol, triclosan, delmopinol, cetylpyridinium chloride, a source of zinc ions, a source of tin ions, antiperspirants from plant materials and a combination of two or more of the above. 7. An oral care composition according to claim 1, wherein the oral care composition is selected from the group consisting of toothpaste, gel, mousse, powder, confectionery, a strip, an oral spray and a tooth elixir.
