PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infant preparation for promoting the health of the retina and development of vision in an infant, and provide a corresponding usage.SOLUTION: The preparation does not contain egg PL, but contains DHA, and on a ready-to-feed basis, at least about 50 mcg/L lutein in ingestible form, fat, protein, carbohydrate, vitamins, and minerals. The weight ratio of lutein (mcg) to DHA (mg) is 1:2-10:1.
