PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify an operator about the occurremce of an important event relating to procedures in a plurality of systems with a single central operating panel.
SOLUTION: This surgery system 1 comprises: an endoscopic surgery system 2 for performing an endoscopic procedure by using a rigid endoscope an electronic endoscope system 3 for observing the inside of the body cavity of a patient to which the procedure is executed by the endoscopic surgery system 2 a procedure support system 4 for controlling an operating room where the endoscopic surgery system 2 and the electronic endoscope system 3 are arranged, also monitoring the biological information of the patient and supporting the procedure and a touch panel 6 constituting the central operation panel for selectively controlling the endoscopic surgery system 2, the electronic endoscope system 3 and the procedure support system 4 through a control/video signal switching device 5.
