The present invention provides an alert type moxibustion box capable of replacing drug tablet, which comprises: a shell, a metal mesh cover and a drug tablet box. The shell is penetrated by an upper opening. The shell has a lower periphery laterally configured with side openings, and a center portion penetrated by a groove. The shell is extended from two lower sides with supporting portions to be integrated with the base. The center of the base is penetrated by a base opening. A plurality of pits are disposed on a protrusion extending from the supporting portion and the lower side of the base. The upper periphery plane of the base is configured with at least two convex portions. The metal mesh cover has a length shorter than the length of the shell. A trunk-like mesh body of the metal mesh cover includes an upper portion defined therein an opening, a U-shaped cross-section, and an upper outer periphery formed thereon flanges. The drug tablet box is provided for passing through the side openings of the base of the shell, in which the tray-like body has a concave interior. Through the drug tablet in the drug tablet box, it is able to improve the treatment effect of the existed moxibustion technique that simply uses only few species in the moxibustion box, such as folium artemisiae argyi and ginger pieces, and provide a lot of selective therapies using different drugs according to different acupuncture points thereby giving the traditional Chinese medicine with a novel change.
