PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress dispersion in the winding strength of a cuff when starting measurement in a blood pressure measuring device.SOLUTION: A sphygmomanometer 1 is adapted to regulate the internal pressure of a pressing-fixing airbag 8 so that a difference between the internal pressure of a measuring airbag 13 and the internal pressure of the pressing-fixing airbag 8 is a fixed value or more when the measuring airbag 13 is reduced in pressure. With this internal pressure difference, the pressing-fixing airbag 8 applies pressure of atmospheric pressure or higher to the measuring airbag 13.
