PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for completely decomposing an amino-s-triazine-based compound, especially melamine and a hydroxy group-substituted product thereof, and to provide a new microorganism usable for the decomposition method.
SOLUTION: The method for decomposing the amino-s-triazine-based compound such as the melamine, an ammeline and an ammelide uses bacteria belonging to the genus Nocardioides having the degrading ability of the amino-s-triazine-based compound, or the bacteria, and bacteria belonging to the Betaproteobacteria or both of bacteria belonging the genus Bradyrhizobium and the bacteria belonging to the genus Betaproteobacteria. The microbiologic agent contains the bacteria as active ingredients.
