PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel crystal of α-glucosyl hesperidin in which the structure of the crystal is clarified, and to provide production methods of powders substantially consisting of the crystal.SOLUTION: A production method comprises the steps of: (A) dissolving a raw material of α-glucosyl hesperidin having the purity of α-glucosyl hesperidin of 95% or more into an aqueous lower alcohol solution having an alcohol concentration of 30 to 40 (v/v)% and having 1 to 4 carbon atoms； (B) lowering the temperature of the obtained α-glucosyl hesperidin solution into a supersaturated state； (C) holding the α-glucosyl hesperidin solution at a constant temperature in the supersaturated state to precipitate the crystal of α-glucosyl hesperidin； and (D) collecting the precipitated crystal of α-glucosyl hesperidin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2【課題】 結晶構造が解明されたα－グルコシルヘスペリジンの新規な結晶と実質的に当該結晶からなる粉体の製造方法を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】 （ア）α－グルコシルヘスペリジン純度が９５％以上の原料α－グルコシルヘスペリジンをアルコール濃度が３０乃至４０（ｖ／ｖ）％の炭素数１乃至４の低級アルコール水溶液中に溶解させる工程；（イ）得られたα－グルコシルヘスペリジン溶液の温度を降下させ、過飽和状態にする工程；（ウ）過飽和状態にしたα－グルコシルヘスペリジン溶液を、一定温度に保持してα－グルコシルヘスペリジン結晶を析出させる工程；（エ）析出したα－グルコシルヘスペリジン結晶を採取する工程を含む製造方法を提供することよって上記課題を解決する。【選択図】 図２
