To reduce troublesomeness in an operation to measure a structure in an image.SOLUTION: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus according to the embodiment includes an image generation unit, an estimation unit, a display control unit, and input unit. The image generation unit generates, based on data collected by ultrasound scan on a subject, an ultrasound image corresponding to a region which includes a site of an unborn child. The estimation unit estimates a first shape which is applied to the site on the basis of the ultrasound image. The display control unit causes the ultrasound image to be displayed on a display unit and causes a first marker corresponding to the first shape to be displayed on the ultrasound image. The input unit receives an input which specifies a position on the ultrasound image. The estimation unit, when the input is received after the first marker is displayed, estimates a second shape, of the same type as the first shape, which is applied to the site on the basis of the ultrasound image and the position specified by the input.
