Plant shrouding is a film ring-shaped unit, bent into a funnel, to be placed on the soil around the plant, for protection against pests and the effects of weather and also direct water to the plant roots
The protective shrouding for growing plants is a ring-shaped unit (1) with a center opening, and a break at one point to give two free ends (4,5). The unit is of a plastics film, curved into a funnel shape, locked in place by a fastener (8,9). The funnel is placed on the soil (13), around the plant to be protected, and the sloping sides direct water (14) to the plant roots. The funnel can be covered, to give a greenhouse environment for the plant.
