A compression garment comprises an inflatable bladder having opposing side edges extending longitudinally along a length of the bladder, at least a portion of the bladder defining a compression region expandable to apply pressure to a portion of a wearer's body； a non-wicking material welded to the opposing side edges of the bladder so that the non-wicking material extends laterally away from the side edges of the bladder, the non-wicking material having an inner surface and an outer surface substantially opposite the inner surface； and a wicking material disposed on the inner surface of the non-wicking material for wicking fluid away from the portion of the wearer's body.
