The present invention relates to a smart plant management system and, more specifically, to a smart plant management system, in which a smart plant management device for controlling factors required for managing and cultivating plant is applied to an environment around the plant. According to the present invention, the smart plant management system comprises: detection devices including at least one among an illumination sensor disposed at a predetermined position inside or outside the smart plant management device to detect the amount of sunlight for the smart plant management device, a temperature/humidity sensor detecting temperature and humidity inside the smart plant management device, a soil moisture sensor measuring the moisture of soil in which the plant is grown, and a camera sensor photographing appearance of the plant； a plant state information providing module providing a user with an appearance image of the plant acquired by the camera sensor, a plant state thereof, and environmental condition information detected by at least one among the illumination sensor, the temperature/humidity sensor, and the soil moisture sensor； and a smart plant management device operating module recognizing a type of the plant through the appearance image of the plant acquired by the camera sensor, and manually operating the smart plant management device in accordance with the state of the plant or the environmental condition information to properly control the factors in accordance with the type of the plant.
