<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air heat source heat pump system of a simple and inexpensive constitution, simultaneously or alternately producing cold air and a cooling medium, or hot air and a heating medium, and also to provide a method of operating the same. <；P>；SOLUTION: In this air heat source heat pump system 1 in which an outdoor unit 3 having a compressor 10, a four-way switch valve 12, an outdoor heat exchanger 13 and an outdoor air blower 14, and an indoor unit 2 having an indoor heat exchanger 30 and an indoor air blower 31 are connected by refrigerant pipes 4, 5, and a heat pump cycle 6 is configured by the compressor 10, the four-way switch valve 12, the outdoor heat exchanger 13, the indoor heat exchanger 30 and the like, the refrigerant pipe 5 connecting the four-way switch valve 12 on an outdoor unit 3 side and an indoor heat exchanger 30 on an indoor unit 2 side, is provided with a refrigerant and heat medium heat exchanger 40 for making a refrigerant flowing on a refrigerant pipe 5 side, exchange heat with the heat medium such as water to produce the cooling medium or the heating medium. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
