Bio-based absorbent articles are provided. Bio-based absorbent articles include a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core sandwiched there between. The topsheet and backsheet are attached to each other along opposing surfaces to define a cavity in which the absorbent core is enclosed. The components of absorbent article are selected so that at least 75% of the material comprising the absorbent article comprises a bio- based material, and preferably at least 80%, 85%, 90%, and 95% of the material comprising the absorbent article comprises a bio-based material.L'invention concerne des articles absorbants biocomposés.
