A composition comprises spray dried roe, wherein the spray dried roe is in the form of a powder and comprises less than 10 wt% water, based on the total weight of the spray dried roe. The composition may be a dietary supplement, a nutritional supplement, a food product or a pharmaceutical composition. The composition may comprise one or more antioxidants. The spray dried roe may be selected from capelin roe, cod roe, herring roe, saithe roe, shrimp roe or salmon roe. The spray dried roe may comprise omega-3 fatty acids and omega-6 fatty acids in a weight ratio of from 17:1 to 20:1. The spray dried roe may comprise 3 to 5 wt% omega-3 fatty acids, based on the total weight of the spray dried roe.
