The present invention provides a nanohybrid comprising nanovesicles linked with nanoparticles for delivery of therapeutic agents in cancer. In particular, the two therapeutic agents are loaded simultaneously in different compartments (nanovesicles and nanoparticles) of said hybrids for obtaining synergistic activity and delivery to the target site in a non-invasive manner. The two therapeutic agents will target different metabolic pathways and hence provide better treatment efficacy. The present invention also provides a process for preparation of such nanohybrid.
