In such a preparation, there is a problem that the SPF function of a water-soluble ultraviolet light absorber is not as sufficient as expected. In addition, a sunscreen cosmetic should give a particularly moist feeling of use.To overcome the problem that a moist feeling of a sunscreen cosmetic is damaged by adding an oily organic ultraviolet light absorber thereto at a high ratio, disclosed is a sunscreen cosmetic which mainly comprises a water-soluble ultraviolet light absorber and, therefore, can achieve both a high SPF value and a moist feeing of use.
