A method for analyzing cardiac information, comprising the following steps: (a) wrapping an cuff around an arm of the subject to measure a systolic blood pressure and a diastolic blood pressure of the subject (b) computing a mean blood pressure according to the systolic blood pressure and the diastolic blood pressure (c) pressurizing the cuff to a constant pressure equal to the mean blood pressure, and then measuring a pulse signal on the arm lasting for a period of time (d) converting the pulse signal in time domain to obtain a spectrum diagram in frequency domain and (e) analyzing the cardiac information according to the spectrum diagram.
