PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair which can recline with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A wheelchair 100 comprises a reclining mechanism 120 which is disposed on a rear part of a back part frame 113, and which maintains a backrest body 104 at an initial angle or reclining angle. The reclining mechanism 120 has a support member 121 which is pivotally supported to an extension part 116 extending rearward of the back part frame 113, and supports the backrest body 104 from a rear side. The support member 121 is engaged to the backrest body 104 and the backrest body 104 is maintained at the initial angle, in a state that the support member 121 is mounted on the extension part 116, namely positioned on a first position, and when the support member 121 is engaged to the backrest body 104, at a second position where the support member 121 is suspended from the extension part 116, the backrest body 121 is maintained at the reclining angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
