The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring magnetic plethysmography using a time varying magnetic field and, more specifically, to an apparatus for measuring magnetic plethysmography using a time varying magnetic field comprising: an oscillator module for applying a time-varying magnetic field to a blood vessel through a coil adjacent to the blood vessel, and for generating a detection signal to which a change in inductance of the coil caused by blood flow inside the blood vessel influenced by the time-varying magnetic field is reflected and a signal processing module for generating pulse wave data by processing the detection signal. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method for measuring magnetic plethysmography using a time varying magnetic field and, more specifically, to a method for measuring magnetic plethysmography using a time varying magnetic field comprising: a step (1) for applying a time-varying magnetic field to a blood vessel through a coil adjacent to the blood vessel a step (2) for detecting a detection signal to which a change in inductance of the coil caused by blood flow inside the blood vessel influenced by the applied time-varying magnetic field is reflected and a step (3) for generating pulse wave data by processing the detection signal.
