PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin-beautifying agent that exhibits excellent skin-lightening actions (tyrosinase activity-inhibiting actions, melanin production-suppressing actions, and the like) and is highly safe, and a skin care preparation for external use and foods and drinks utilizing the skin-beautifying agent.
SOLUTION: The skin-lightening agent comprises at least one selected from among extracts of Millingtonia hortensis, extracts of Leea macrophylla, extracts of Codariocalyx motorius, extracts of Martynia annua, extracts of Pittosporum napaulense, extracts of Hesperethusa crenulata and extracts of Thunbergia laurifolia. The care skin care preparation for external use and the foods and drinks comprise the skin-beautifying agent.
