The present invention relates to an armrest for a patient. More specifically, the present invention relates to an armrest for a patient, in which a shoulder strap is coupled to a connecting strap at both upper ends of an arm support for receiving the arm by means of a connecting ring, the shoulder strap is connected to both lower portions of the arm support respectively by a back strap, a switching portion whose front and back sides are convertible is disposed in the middle of the back strap, and the switching portions at both sides are connected by a back strap coupling member to stably support the arm.본 발명은 환자용 팔걸이에 관한 것으로, 좀 더 상세하게는 팔을 수용하는 팔받침의 상단 양쪽 연결끈에 연결고리로 어깨끈이 결합되고, 이 어깨끈은 다시 등끈에 의해 상기 팔받침의 양쪽 하부에 각각 연결되도록 구성하되, 상기 등끈의 중간부에는 앞뒷면이 바뀌는 전환부를 두고, 양쪽 전환부를 등끈결합부재로 연결하여 팔을 안정적으로 지지할 수 있는 환자용 팔걸이에 관한 것이다.
