The present invention provides an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus using a method for recognizing the position and shape of an organ on a three-dimensional ultrasound scan to display the proper scan guide on a screen. The ultrasound diagnostic apparatus provides information regarding an ideal position and angle of the organ when performing the three-dimensional ultrasound scan, thereby increasing the convenience and accuracy of scanning.
