Provided is a magnetic resonance (MR) image processing method to detect amyloid plaques. The image processing method comprises the following steps: stripping requisite regions from MR images of an analysis subject whose amyloid plaques are required to be detected； acquiring normalized individual images by performing spatial normalization with the stripped requisite regions； taking an average of two or more different individual images acquired at the same time point to obtain a template at the same time point； dividing the template into specific regions； and calculating and comparing brightness values of MR images of the analysis subject and a prearranged reference subject by each of the specific regions. Accordingly, it is possible to non-invasively detect amyloid plaques and to understand the distribution of the amyloid plaques by a quantitative analysis even if a low resolution of an MR image hinders detection of an individual amyloid plaque.본 발명은 아밀로이드 반을 검출하고자 하는 분석 대상에 대한 자기 공명 영상으로부터 필요 영역을 잘라내는 단계； 잘라낸 상기 필요 영역을 공간적 표준화하여 표준화된 개별 영상을 얻는 단계； 동일한 시점에 획득된 서로 다른 둘 이상의 상기 개별 영상을 평균하여 상기 동일한 시점의 템플릿을 구하는 단계； 상기 템플릿을 일정 영역으로 구분하는 단계； 및 상기 템플릿을 이용하여 구분된 상기 일정 영역별로 상기 분석 대상과 미리 준비된 참조 대상의 자기 공명 영상의 밝기를 계산하여 비교하는 단계를 포함하는 아밀로이드 반 검출을 위한 자기 공명 영상의 처리 방법을 제공한다. 이에 따라, 비침습적으로 아밀로이드 반의 존재를 검출할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, MR 영상의 낮은 해상도로 인하여 개별 아밀로이드 반의 존재를 검출할 수 없는 경우에도 정량적인 분석을 통해 아밀로이드 반의 분포를 파악할 수 있다.
