PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray computed tomography apparatus which can reconstruct an image and moreover, achieves reduction in an amount of data transmission from a gantry to a console.SOLUTION: The gantry 10 includes an X-ray tube 13, an X-ray detector 15, a data collection circuit 21, and a transmission part 23. The X-ray tube 13 generates X-rays, and the X-ray detector 15 detects the X-rays generated from the X-ray tube 13. The data collection circuit 21 has an extraction part 215 which extracts output signals corresponding to the X-rays that are generated from the X-ray tube 13 and that a subject has transmitted, from output signals from the X-ray detector 15. The transmission part 23 transmits the extracted output signals to the console 30 through radio or a cable. The console 30 has a reception part 31 and a reconstruction part 37.
