PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in size of a rice cake making machine even if it has an air blower unit for feeding air while pounding and kneading.SOLUTION: A hopper 12 having a rotary vane 13 for pounding and kneading and a storing part 30 of the air blower unit 20 having an air blowing fan 21 are provided in a body case 11. The air blower unit 20 is switched between a non-operation posture in which the air blower unit 20 is stored in the storing part 30 and an operation posture in which the air blowing fan 21 is positioned in a lateral upper part of an opening of the hopper 12.
