An absorbent article can have an improved attachment to a wearer's undergarment and can maintain proper placement in the undergarment of the wearer. The absorbent article can produce less waste for the wearer of the absorbent article. The absorbent article can have a topsheet layer, a backsheet layer, an absorbent core positioned between the topsheet layer and the backsheet layer, and a pair of opposing wings. The absorbent article can have a mechanical garment attachment which can maintain the placement of the absorbent article within the wearer's undergarment.L'invention concerne un article absorbant se fixant mieux à un sous-vêtement de l'utilisateur et pouvant rester en place dans ledit sous-vêtement de l'utilisateur. L'article absorbant peut produire moins de déchets pour la personne utilisant l'article absorbant. L'article absorbant peut comporter une couche supérieure, une couche inférieure et une couche centrale absorbante située entre la couche supérieure et la couche inférieure, ainsi qu'une paire d'ailettes opposées. L'article absorbant peut comporter une fixation mécanique au vêtement qui peut assurer le maintien de la mise en place de l'article absorbant à l'intérieur du sous-vêtement de l'utilisateur.
