PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to refer to necessary medical data while preventing occurrence of waiting time.SOLUTION: A medical data migration system of an embodiment comprises: patient-condition extraction means； layout extraction means； migration-priority determination means； migration-destination selection means； and data migration means. The patient-condition extraction means extracts patient condition information from the hospital system. The layout extraction means acquires a display layout associated with each operator of an image viewer. The migration-priority determination means determines a migration priority of each medical data on the basis of the display layout. The migration-destination selection means selects the new data storage system serving as a migration destination on the basis of the migration priority. The data migration means migrates medical data stored in the existing data storage system to the selected new data storage system on the basis of the migration priority.
