PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-adhesive protective member (except for a self-adhesive protective member for hangnails) providing excellent use feeling without providing a sense of incongruity to fingers even when a personal computer or a mobile phone is used.SOLUTION: The self-adhesive protective member (except for the self-adhesive protective member for hangnails) includes at least a self-adhesive agent layer and a base material with thickness within a range of 5-35 &mum, and is used by sticking on a finger nail in a state that the backside of the finger is exposed so as to cover the peripheral surface thereof or by sticking on a finger so as to cover the surface thereof along the longitudinal direction.
