PURPOSE: A blood pressure measuring apparatus with a pulse determining function, a blood pressure measuring method using the same, and a pulse determining method are provided to determine a pulse of a subject by sensing the pressure of chon, kwan, and chuck parts of the subject using an air bag. CONSTITUTION: A cuff part(10) pressurizes a plurality of points in a wrist part by injected air and then reduces the plurality of the points. A pressure sensing unit(20a,20b,20c) generates a sensing signal by the pressure sensed at one or more points according to the pressurization and decompression of the cuff part. A state determining unit(30) calculates the pulse and the blood pressure of the object by using the sensing signal and determines the pulse of the object by using the sensing signal. [Reference numerals] (14) First air bag； (16) Second air bag； (18) Third air bag； (20a) Pressure sensing unit； (20b) Pressure sensing unit； (20c) Pressure sensing unit； (32) Blood pressure calculating unit； (34) Pulsation calculating unit； (36) Pulse state determining unit； (40a) Air discharge unit； (40b) Air discharge unit； (40c) Air discharge unit； (50a) Air supply unit； (50b) Air supply unit； (50c) Air supply unit； (60) Operation control unit； (70) Display unit본 발명은 맥상 판단 기능을 갖는 혈압 측정 장치, 이를 이용한 혈압 측정 방법 및 맥상 판단 방법에 관한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는 하나의 장치에서 대상자의 혈압 측정과 맥상 판단이 가능한 맥상 판단 기능을 갖는 혈압 측정 장치, 이를 이용한 혈압 측정 방법 및 맥상 판단 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 주입되는 공기에 의해 대상자의 손목 부위의 복수 지점을 가압하거나 또는 가압 후 상기 복수 지점에 대한 감압이 이루어지는 커프부； 상기 커프부의 가압 또는 감압에 따라 상기 복수 지점 중 적어도 하나 이상의 지점에서 감지되는 압력에 따른 감지 신호를 생성하는 압력 감지부； 및 상기 감지 신호를 이용하여 대상자의 혈압 및 맥박을 계산하거나 또는 상기 대상자의 맥상을 판단하는 상태 판단부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 의하면 대상자의 손목 부위를 가압하는 공기주머니를 3개로 분리하여 심장과 가까운 쪽에 있는 두 개의 공기 주머니가 손목 부위를 가압하거나 또는 가압 상태를 해제하도록 하는 방식으로 대상자의 수축기 혈압과 확장기 혈압을 측정하므로 혈압 측정의 정확도를 향상시킬 수 있는 효과를 갖는다.
