Disclosed is a method for measuring systolic arterial blood pressure of a patient utilizing a finger cuff including an inflatable bladder and a pulsatility sensor that detects arterial pulsatility in a finger of the patient, the method comprising: placing the finger cuff around the finger of the patient； inflating the bladder of the finger cuff until the finger cuff applies a first pressure to the finger, the first pressure being greater than the systolic pressure to be measured； deflating the bladder of the finger cuff until the finger cuff applies a second pressure to the finger, the second pressure being less than the systolic pressure to be measured； monitoring the arterial pulsatility in the finger with the pulsatility sensor； and obtaining a measurement of the systolic arterial blood pressure based on pressure applied to the finger by the finger cuff and the arterial pulsatility in the finger.Procédé de mesure de la pression artérielle systolique d'un patient à l'aide d'un doigtier comprenant un sac gonflable et un capteur de pulsatilité qui détecte la pulsatilité artérielle dans un doigt du patient, le procédé consistant à : placer le doigtier autour du doigt du patient ； faire gonfler le sac du doigtier jusqu'à ce que le doigtier applique une première pression au doigt, la première pression étant supérieure à la pression systolique à mesurer ； dégonfler le sac du doigtier jusqu'à ce que le doigtier applique une seconde pression au doigt, la seconde pression étant inférieure à la pression systolique à mesurer ； contrôler la pulsatilité artérielle dans le doigt à l'aide du capteur de pulsatilité ； et obtenir une mesure de la pression artérielle systolique sur la base de la pression appliquée au doigt par le doigtier et de la pulsatilité artérielle dans le doigt.
