A monofilament for mowing characterized by being produced by spinning a resin composition, said resin composition comprising 70-97 parts by weight of a polylactic acid resin (A) and 30-3 parts by weight of an adipate plasticizer (B), each relative to 100 parts by weight of the sum of the polylactic acid resin (A) and the adipate plasticizer (B). Thus, the monofilament for mowing, which is biodegradable, shows an excellent mowing performance and has a high breakage resistance and high abrasion resistance, is provided.本發明之割草用單絲之特徵在於:其係對將聚乳酸樹脂(A)與己二酸酯系塑化劑(B)之合計設為100重量份而調配70~97重量份之聚乳酸樹脂(A)與30~3重量份之己二酸酯系塑化劑(B)而成之樹脂組成物進行紡絲而成。本發明係提供一種具有生物降解性、且割草性、耐折損性、耐磨耗性優異之割草用單絲。
