The present invention describes an integrated apparatus that enables identification of invasive tumor cells directly from a specimen. The methods using the apparatus can be used to prognose or predict the survivability of the cancer in a subject and the risk of recurrence of the cancer in the subject after treatment. The methods disclosed herein can be used to determine which chemotherapeutic or other therapies most strongly inhibit the tumor cells invasiveness as a form of personalized therapy.L'invention concerne un appareil intégré permettant d'identifier des cellules tumorales invasives directement à partir d'un échantillon. Les méthodes mettant en oeuvre cet appareil peuvent servir à établir un pronostic ou prédire la capacité de survie au cancer d'un patient et le risque de récidive du cancer chez le patient après traitement. Les méthodes selon l'invention peuvent servir à déterminer les traitements par chimiothérapie ou autres traitements qui inhibent le plus fortement le pouvoir envahissant des cellules tumorales, sous forme de traitement personnalisé.
