PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely measure multiple pieces of biological information.SOLUTION: A biological information measuring apparatus 10 includes a light emitting element LD1 and a light emitting element LD2 that emit light having mutually different wavelengths, and a light receiving element 3. The biological information measuring apparatus 10 controls the periods of light emission from the light emitting elements LD1 and LD2 such that the period of light emission from the light emitting element LD2 is shorter than the period of light emission from the light emitting element LD1, and preferably the light emitting element LD1 successively emits light during the halt of light emission from the light emitting element LD2.
