PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing false positive rate of a tumor diagnosis supporting system.
SOLUTION: A tumor image is detected from a medical image, and a blood vascular image existing around the detected tumor image is extracted, and the extracted blood vascular image is separated at each space between blood vascular bifurcation and divided into a blood vascular segment, and the serpentine-curved degree of each blood vascular segment is computed and output visibly. Additionally, the bifurcation degree of each bifurcation existing in the blood vascular image is computed and output visibly.
