PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyzed water mist generator capable of increasing the concentration of hypochlorous acid and an OH radical in electrolyzed water and exerting a great disinfection effect by using an electrolyzed water mist, and an air cleaner.SOLUTION: The air cleaner 1 includes: a casing 20 an air circulation channel 27 which is formed in the casing 20 an air cleaning device 28 and a blower 29, which are disposed in the air circulation channel 27 and an electrolyzed water mist generating unit 43. An electrolytic cell 70 of an electrolyzed water generator 73 is partitioned into sections 75 and 76 with an ion-exchange membrane 74. An electrode 71 functioning as a positive electrode is disposed in the section 75, and an electrode 72 functioning as a negative electrode is disposed in the section 76. The hypochlorous acid and the OH radical are generated in the section 75.
