PURPOSE: A method for an after-ripening process for a kiwi fruit is provided to suppress decay in a process of distribution and storage, and to uniform a quality by using LED(Light Emitting Diode) irradiation.CONSTITUTION: A kiwifruit is irradiated by LED(Light Emitting Diode) which emits a wavelength in a 600-720 nm range with or without being sealed hermetically. The kiwi fruit is irradiated by LED which emits a wavelength of a 400-500 nm range after being sealed hermetically. The kiwi fruit has been irradiated by LED for 5-10 days. The kiwi fruit is irradiated by LED at a temperature of 20-30 deg.
