The present invention relates to packages comprising containers filled with supersaturated solutions of contrast media and closed with a closure means. The package comprises closure means comprising Carbon Black. The invention further relates to methods for improving the stability of such contrast media during storage, and in particular the method includes filling the contrast media in a container and closing the container with a closure means comprising Carbon Black.
