Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine medizinische Vorrichtung zur Behandlung von Körperhohlorganen, insbesondere von Blutgefäßen, die durch ein Konkrement zumindest teilweise verschlossen sind, umfassend einen expandierbaren, insbesondere einen selbstexpandierbaren flexiblen Körper (10), der im expandierten Zustand ein Aufnahmeelement (11) für das Konkrement bildet, wobei das Aufnahmeelement (11) eine seitliche Aufnahmeöffnung (12) aufweist, die von einer Offenstellung in eine Schließstellung bewegbar ist.
