The device for the diagnosis of peripheral neuropathy using a needle electromyography signal includes an electromyography detecting unit, a signal processing unit, and a discriminating unit, wherein the signal processing unit is configured to perform wavelet transform on an action potential signal to enable time-frequency analysis.본 발명은 침 근전도 신호를 이용한 말초신경병증 감별 장치에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 한 사람에게서 추출하는 여러 개의 침 근전도 신호를 통계처리하고, 침 근전도 신호의 시간-주파수 분석이 가능한 웨이블렛 변환 방법을 제시하여 더욱 신뢰도 높고 진단의 오류를 줄일 수 있으며 근전도검사 직후 말초신경병증에 대한 진단을 내릴 수 있는 말초신경병증 감별장치에 관한 기술이다.
