The present invention provides a sterilization apparatus and method for a touch device that includes a touch screen. The touch screen has a protection film that is divided into a first protection film and a second protection film. The sterilization apparatus includes a first wound roller, a second wound roller and a screen sterilization unit. When no operation is executed by the touch device, the screen sterilization unit drives the first wound roller and the second wound roller to rotate once a time, so as to sterilize the first protection film and the second protection film used by the touch screen.
