PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electric working machine that, even when a battery is replaced with a spare battery, can be moved to a place where the spare battery is disposed while work is continued, and can avoid the deterioration of working efficiency.SOLUTION: A portable electric working machine includes: a battery 2； a motor 3 driven by the battery 2； a working part 4 operated by the rotation of the motor 3； and a control part 5 for controlling the motor 3. The control part 5 includes a battery voltage detection part 5A for detecting a voltage of the battery 2, and a motor control part 5B for stopping the rotation of the motor 3 when the voltage detected by the battery voltage detection part 5A decreases to a preset voltage or lower.
