PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for nanoparticle colloid of hardly-soluble organic substance with high purity which has excellent dispersion stability and storage stability, and no impurity, a technology for nanoparticle colloid which maintains a structure of original hardly-soluble organic substance and has improved functions, such as activity and reactivity, compared with, for example, a solution of the organic substance, and a technology for nanoparticle colloid in which nanoparticles have high surface modification performance.SOLUTION: In a nano-dispersion method of hardly-soluble organic substance, the hardly-soluble organic substance is irradiated with an ultrashort pulse laser beam in a liquid or solid medium and is subjected to laser ablation, the hardly-soluble organic substance is refined to nanoparticles, and the nanoparticles are dispersed in the liquid or solid medium.
