PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilling depth control structure of a tillage work machine, which can keep the tilling depth of a tillage apparatus at a control target tillage depth set with a setting means without using the revolution of an engine as an index on tilling depth control.

SOLUTION: This tilling depth control structure of the tillage work machine is characterized by having a driving means 41 for lifting or lowering a tillage apparatus 3 on the basis of a travel vehicle body 1, a setting means 56 for setting a control target tilling depth of the tillage apparatus 3, a detection means 54 for detecting the vehicle body height of the tillage apparatus 3, a control means 25A for controlling the operation of the driving means 41 so that the output of the detection means 54 may correspond to the output of the setting means 56, a calculation means 62 for calculating the fuel injection quantity of an engine 6, and a memory means 25C for memorizing the output of the calculation means 62 as a control standard value when the output of the detection means 54 corresponds to the output of the setting means 56, wherein the control means 25A corrects the control target tillage depth on the basis of the control standard value and the output of the calculation means 62, and controls the operation of the driving means 41 so that the output of the detection means 54 may correspond to the control target tillage depth after the correction.
